SPECIAL HANDS-ON OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT, LEARN ABOUT, AND SUPPORT SAFEHOUSE DENVER
On Monday, November 18, eighteen of us will be able to visit SafeHouse Denver, learn about its mission and programs, and help organize their pantry to better serve the people who come there for support and assistance. Because the spaces allotted for our visit are limited, the first 16 members who sign up will be able to join Michelle Reiff and Elaine Stepner (who graciously arranged the visit). The program will start at 9:30 am on the 18th and last for about 2 hours.
If you would like to join us, please register here. With limited space, we ask that you sign up when you are certain you will be able to make the event so that we can accommodate as many members as possible. The deadline for registration is Friday, November 15.
If we have more than 16 registrants, we will add your name to the waiting list in case spots open up. Otherwise, we will look into possibly having a second tour after the new year.

1) If coming from East Hampden, turn North at the light at Oneida – Discount Tire is on the corner
2) Turn east at the 4 way stop sign
3) follow East Girard around the curve on the left, and look for signs on the left, near the sidewalks, which indicate the lane number. Turn into LANE 9.4) Go down to the end. There are 3 guest parking spaces on the left. If they are full, people can park parallel to my garage, which is the 2nd from the last garage on the right side of the lane.
5) Walk through the breezeway (has a table and some chairs) and my townhouse is upstairs, on the left. Green door. Can leave packages by my front door. |
