Get involved with Children’s Traveling Theater
Do you harbor a secret desire to perform? Do you think exposing young children to the arts is critical to their all-around development? If you answered, “yes,” we have a spot for you!
The NCJW Children’s Traveling Theater brings musicals—some original and some existing— to pre- and elementary school children throughout the Denver metro area. Currently the brainchild of member Toots Siegal (whose mother started the program nearly 50 years ago), the group performs once a week throughout the school year. Rehearsals are held in a theater space prior to performance. You don’t need any previous experience…just enthusiasm! And you’ll be rewarded by the smiles of the audience—many of whom have never seen a live theater performance.
