CANDIDATES’ FORUM 2024

It’s an election year so once again, we are holding a Candidates’ Forum where you both can meet and greet candidates for office from across the state and then learn about issues relevant to the Jewish community from the candidates for statewide and federal office.  The Meet and Greet will take place from 6 – 7 pm in the Temple Emanuel Social Hall. It will be followed by the Candidates’ Forum at 7 pm in the Feiner Chapel. Our moderator, Mark Koebrich, former news anchor at KUSA – TV here in Denver, will interview the candidates for US House and representatives of our incumbent US House members who unfortunately are unable to be with us due to an important budget vote in Washington = democracy in action!

Following, Mark and our special guest, Adam Burg, will discuss, analyze, and interpret several of this year’s ballot initiatives so that we all may understand what they are about. We then will return to the Social Hall to visit with the representatives of the ballot initiatives and any candidates who may still be on premises.

All eligible candidates have been invited to participate. Keep checking for updates on who will be participating.

The deadline to register to attend the Candidates’ Forum is September 25, 2024, before the start of the event.  You can register to attend here.

For security purposes we do appreciate registration in advance. There should be opportunities to register at the door, however.

In the meantime, you can also sign up to volunteer at the event by filling out the volunteer form. We will get back to you about all the possible volunteer opportunities.
