Listen & Learn: Secret Dockets, Women’s Reproductive Rights and the Supreme Court

Join NCJW Thursday November 4th at 7pm via Zoom as we explore what a shadow docket is, how the Texas case is affecting us here in Colorado and the underlying issues on women’s reproductive rights.  It is a discussion you will not we will not want to miss!

The program will start with a discussion on shadow dockets lead by Justice Richard Gabriel of the Colorado Supreme Court and Chair of Our Courts.  explore with Justice Gabriel what a shadow docket is, why and when they occur and how it could have happened in a case as important as the Texas abortion matter.

Following Justice Gabriel’s discussion we will move into a panel discussion lead by our own Isa Bielsky.  Members of the panel will include:

• Neta Meltzer ,  Director of Strategic Communications for Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. 
• Nadine Bridges, Executive Director of One Colorado.   
• Melanie Fontes, a Fellow at the Center for Reproductive Rights
