This One’s for Me: Women’s Shabbaton

MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND SAVE THE DATE FOR THIS AMAZING EVENT. Take time out for you! Join NCJW for a relaxing Shabbat in the mountains. Enjoy good company, time to relax, walking in the changing leaves, and participating in workshops geared towards taking care of yourself. Join us for just Shabbat or stay an extra night and join Summit County women for a wonderful community service program. Registration information is below and is due by September 23rd! Carpools will be available.
“To Retreat” means to move back or away from something dangerous. Certainly people’s lives may not truly be in danger but the level of stress we endure can be bad for our health, longevity, and our relationships. Our Shabbaton will be a great opportunity to take a break from the things that bring people stress, such as work, technology, traffic, etc.
Join us in a beautiful mountain location surrounded by nature and relaxation! You can come for Shabbat, or stay an extra night and spend Sunday through lunch with us as well.
Cost for the Shabbaton is $70 which includes two dinners, one lunch, two breakfasts, crafts, events etc. If getting a chair massage that cost is extra.
For those coming to the area for the retreat, lodging will include your own bed either in a private room or a shared room, your choice. Cost for lodging will be calculated separately, but is estimated to be between $75-125 for a shared room and $130-180 for a private room per night. Please RSVP NOW and once we know how many rooms we will need we will finalize the lodging costs and let you know. RSVP MUST be in by September 23rd for us to reserve the needed space and acquire needed supplies.

- 1:00-3:00pm Hike/walk/time in town
- 3:00-5:00 Hot tub time/Chair Massages (extra charge)/Make candles and bath salts/Relaxation Free Time
- 5:00- 6:00 How to plan to relieve stress
- 6:00-6:30 Prepare dinner
- 6:30-7:30 Dinner
- 7:30-8:00 Havdallah
- 8:00-10:00 A good romcom movie or more games
- Stargazing
